We are committed to statistical accuracy. If you find an error on Verixa — a wrong run total, incorrect ranking, or miscalculated statistic — we want to know immediately.

How to report an error

Submit a correction

Email us with the following information so we can investigate quickly:

The page URL The full web address of the page containing the error.

The incorrect statistic State exactly what is shown on Verixa and what you believe the correct value is.

Your source Link to the official scorecard, ICC page, or trusted statistical source that confirms the correct value.

Our corrections process

What happens after you report

Acknowledgement We will confirm receipt of your report within 24 hours.

Investigation We verify the claim against official sources following our data source priority.

Correction If confirmed, the statistic is updated at the database level so it propagates consistently across all pages that display it.

Cache invalidation We clear cached versions of affected pages to ensure updated data is immediately visible to all visitors and crawlers.
Response times

Correction timelines

Statistical errors (runs, wickets, averages)

Investigated and resolved within 48 hours of a verified report.

Editorial corrections (text, descriptions)

Reviewed and corrected within 72 hours.

Formula or calculation errors

Investigated urgently — typically resolved same day for confirmed errors.

Disputed rankings or methodology

Investigated against source data. If our source data is accurate, we will explain our methodology in detail.

What we correct

Scope of corrections

We correct factual statistical errors — incorrect run totals, wrong wicket counts, inaccurate averages, wrong match counts, and similar numerical errors. We do not correct statistics that reflect a different data source's counting methodology (for example, when two authoritative sources disagree due to differing inclusion criteria for matches).

For calculator pages, we correct calculation formula errors. Calculator results are based on user input and the published formula — they are not our assertion of any specific match result.
